Raffle Rules

One (1) ticket per $20 donation.
The drawing will be held on August 19th, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at 1015 E. McGregor Drive, McGregor TX 76657, Jim Turner Chevrolet. You do not have to be present to win.  Under CREA, the McGregor Volunteer Fire Department board of directors may set another date not later than 30 days from the original date. If the prizes are not drawn and winners chosen within 30 days of the original date, the organization must refund the ticket money to the purchasers.
The first ticket drawn will have their choice of which of the three firearms they want.  The 2nd ticket drawn will have their choice of the remaining two firearms that the first winner did not choose.  The 3rd ticket drawn, will receive the remaining firearm that the first two winners did not choose.  (1st ticket gets first choice of the 3, 2nd ticket gets next choice of remaining 2, and 3rd ticket gets the last remaining firearm.)  The first drawn winner has 3 days from when contacted to choose which firearm they would like to receive.  If they cannot be contacted within 3 days, or do not decide within 3 days, they forfeit their right to 1st choice, the 2nd ticket winner will get to choose.  If the 2nd winner cannot be contacted within 3 days, or do not decide within 3 days, they forfeit their right to their 1st choice, the 3rd ticket winner will get to choose.  If there is any dispute as to which ticket winner gets to choose which firearm, the McGregor Volunteer Fire Department board of directors, at its sole discretion, will decide which winner will receive which firearm.
All tickets purchased in a single transaction will be under the purchaser's name. You cannot assign tickets to different names.  Ticket purchaser must be a Texas resident, at least 18 years of age, and be able to legally purchase and possess a firearm, including passing a FFL/background check. State and Federal laws apply. Winner must successfully complete “Federal Form 4473” prior to receiving prize.  By obtaining a ticket, you attest that you are a law-abiding citizen of good moral character, may legally possess the firearm (the winner has the intention of using the firearm only in a legal and safe manner), and will or have already obtained instruction on the safe use and operation of the firearm
The winner will have 30 days to claim their prize. Winner will be required to provide proof of ID. We will attempt to contact the winner three (3) times using the info provided at the time of purchase.  Winner will be issued a redemption certificate for their firearm, which can be redeemed at Republic Gun Club located in Woodway.  At no time will the McGregor Volunteer Fire Department take possession of the firearm. All winners will receive their firearms directly from Republic Gun Club, pending winner passing a background check and all proper federal forms are complete.  Winner assumes all responsibility as to the usage of the firearm.  Winners must transfer ownership of guns into their own name before they take possession. All transfers will be required to be in the name of the ticket purchaser. We will provide you with the Federal Firearms Licensed Dealer's (FFL) contact information to coordinate a time to pick up the gun and transfer ownership.
All firearms won are subject to availability, and the McGregor Volunteer Fire Department board of directors, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to substitute a firearm of equal or greater value.  All included pictures are representations of the firearms available, and not pictures of the actual firearm you may receive as a winner.  The firearms pictures are generally the same as the firearms intended to be raffled away.
The raffle will follow the above rules.  In any circumstance there is a dispute, or situation that the above rules do not cover or apply to, the McGregor Volunteer Fire Department board of directors, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to modify the rules in a manner they believe to be fair to all participants.  By purchasing a ticket, you agree to all of the above rules.  The raffle is void where prohibited.
